Origin

6th grade. Found a Borland C++ textbook in a school library, started typing code from the pages verbatim into an IDE I didn't understand. The bug had bitten.

Catalyst

Lockdown. Windows machine crashed. Installed Linux out of necessity. That "temporary" install became a permanent ideology: privacy-first, free-software-only, source-before-trust.

Philosophy

The compiler is the author. No black boxes. Minimal attack surface. If I can't read the source, I don't run it.

Linux (daily driver), Python / Shell / TypeScript, Node & Postgres, Docker, Kali / Arch, Burp Suite, Wireshark, and whatever gets the job done without phoning home.
